LightCycle Tron Process Design: Legacy
I’ve Ever watched the movie trailer footage Tron: Legacy? If you have ever been, surely you’ve seen the figure of LightCycle motor, the motor is super cool futuristic nan. But if the mania techno want to know what the design process behind the motor is super cool? Here is the story behind the design process LightCycle.
Designer Darren Gilford is the brains behind this project, assisted by Daniel Simon and a team of artists. With them, Darren Gilford managed to create one of the most popular vehicles at this time.
Gilford says it all stems from several 2D concept drawings that took inspiration from the movie Tron first. The real challenge is how to bridge the differences between the latest design with the old design. Finally, he envisioned a motor that is embedded in the body of the rider, in contrast to roofed enclosed motor design from the first movie, but still retain characteristics Tron.

The most interesting aspect of LightCycle design is the concept of wheels without the middle and light lines are like silhouette, making it as the motor of the future. Gilford himself said that he was only responsible for 60% of the overall design LightCycle, because automotive designer Daniel Simon was the one who makes the final design.
In the video below the mania Teno can see the design process from LightCycle, please be listened to.
